Rain Dancing Poem with Pictures

It has been a while since I have last blogged...well here is a poem inspired by pictures my sister took a few years ago and the total lack of rain down here in Texas...(the two girls are my nieces Samantha and Kassandra)

Warm weather this fine summer day                                     
Liquid sunshine falling down
The girls, together went out to play



Rain dancing, down it came
What fun to dance, gloriously wet
Dancing in the rain



They twist and twirl in their dance
They run and skip with laughter and joy
They splish and splash, their feet do prance                               



Rain dancing, down it came
What fun to dance, gloriously wet
Dancing in the rain



What drama and fun dancing in the rain
Remember the joy on this rainy day                              
For there will never be one quite the same
